CommentsAs the final-year event of the research project entitled "International Joint Research on the Visualization of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education" (led by Professor Miki Sugimura, Sophia University), we will discuss how to deepen international learning, how to embrace diversity, and how to innovate in learning design and assessment in higher education based on the insights from this research project. For the keynote speakers, we invited Professor Masako Watanabe from Nagoya University, who has theorized diverse logical thinking in different cultures, and Professor Kazuko Suematsu from Tohoku University, who designed and assessed international collaborative learning at Tohoku University. We will address educational challenges such as cognitive diversity, learner agency, and innovative course design, all of which have not been widely discussed in the field of higher education until now.
