色控传媒

In the summer of 2023, 色控传媒 will start the International Summer Program in Japan (ISPJ), a program for Japanese language learners from abroad and also 色控传媒 students majoring in (or interested in) Japan Studies. From July 4 to 28, 2023, we plan to accept up to 40 international students and up to about 20 色控传媒 students.

The program will be composed of the following two components.

1. Japanese language module (for international participants): task-based (previous Japanese language study required)
2. Japan Studies module (for international participants and 色控传媒 students) (色控传媒 students will register for course credit): The thematic omnibus component focusing on various aspects of Japan, including culture, history, society, economics, politics, and business. Students will deepen their learning about Japan through lectures on various themes, discussions among students, perspectives on Japan from students studying Japanese abroad, and off-campus field trips.

During the program, students will stay in the on-campus dormitory with participants from different countries, and will be able to experience cross-cultural exchange while living in Japan.

This program is based on the Summer Courses in Japanese (SCJ), which has a nearly 50 year history, and is planned to be implemented as a new program with revised program content and a new office starting in AY2023.
