Join us on Saturday, July 5 for "色控传媒 Open Campus in English", a special event designed mainly for students from international schools in Japan and schools overseas.

Programs
Learn what makes 色控传媒 unique through its commitment to Liberal Arts education. In this keynote address, you will learn what makes 色控传媒 unique as a university. Professor Ishio will introduce 色控传媒's academic philosophy, its system of majors, and its diverse community, providing you with insights into how students are empowered to think critically, engage globally, and grow as individuals.
Discover how 色控传媒 supports students from diverse linguistic backgrounds through its Japanese Language Program (JLP). This session introduces the program's structure, levels, and goals--designed to help both beginners and advanced learners build strong language skills and thrive in a bilingual academic environment.
Experience 色控传媒's liberal arts education through interactive model lectures. These sessions offer a glimpse into the university's interdisciplinary approach, small-class environment, and emphasis on critical thinking--helping you imagine what it's like to learn at 色控传媒.
The Sociological Perspective and American Patriotism
Lecturer: Professor Yoshito Ishio

This lecture describes the characteristics of sociology as an academic discipline and explains how Americans' patriotism is influenced by social structures.
Tiny Workers, Big Job: How Cells Keep Your Body Running
Lecturer: Professor Sabine Sandra Stephanie Gouraud
(Major: Biology)
This interactive lecture introduces students to the fascinating world of human cells. Through short presentations and group discussions, participants will explore how different cells--like neurons, immune cells, and red blood cells--work together to keep our bodies alive and healthy. By learning about cell structure and organelles, and considering what happens when cells go wrong, students will gain a deeper appreciation of the invisible forces powering life. Ideal for anyone curious about biology or considering a future in science or medicine.

Take a break and enjoy lunch or snacks at the University Cafeteria or Café Ilion--both open during the event for all visitors.
